Educators and researchers must now be subjected to guidelines based on specific standards that guarantee the quality of educational and research services and meet the needs of society and the labour market through their implementation and achievement, as well as control the effectiveness and efficiency of these activities and procedures due to their increased complexity. As a result, the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, which reports directly to the university's president, has been established as an administrative unit tasked with monitoring and reviewing this process. As part of the approved standards, all formations are evaluated to determine strengths and weaknesses in capabilities, study programmes, and services, to propose appropriate solutions to problems and challenges through periodic improvement plans, follow-up their implementation, and follow up on the development of colleges for their academic programmes and administrative policies to approach graduates at a distinguished level that is consistent with the  standards of local and Arab programme accreditation . The department is also in responsibility of designing and organizing university-wide training initiatives that aim to enhance the level of professionalism and quality among all university employees.
